I’m proud to call Nebraska home. I was raised here, educated in our public schools and at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and today I’m raising my family here with my wife, Dawn, while serving Nebraskans as a neurosurgeon.
From the operating room to the boardroom, I’ve dedicated my career to service. I’ve helped patients and families through some of their hardest days. I’ve worked alongside Nebraska governors to craft responsible policy. I’ve advised our nation’s leaders as a White House Fellow. And I’ve already served as a Student Regent — gaining firsthand experience in overseeing the University’s multi-billion-dollar budget and fighting to keep tuition affordable.
Now, I’m running for the University of Nebraska Board of Regents because I believe our university system is one of Nebraska’s greatest treasures. It’s where future doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, and leaders prepare to serve our state. It’s where research fuels innovation. And it’s where opportunity is created for students and families across every corner of Nebraska.
This race isn’t about politics — it’s about ensuring the University of Nebraska continues to deliver excellence in education, accountability in spending, and opportunity for every Nebraska family.
